Join MESC for Knit Night on Thursday, May 1, from 6-8 p.m. The Museum of Eastern Shore Culture is located in Downtown Salisbury, across from Roadie Joe’s.

Whether you already have a project on your needles and would like to spend an evening working on it with community, or you’re looking to start something new, we will have knitting needles, crochet hooks, tons of yarn, some wool roving, and of course – snacks! Most importantly, we invite you to come create in community with friends old and new.

MESC is hosting a Regional Humanities Networks Capacity Building Workshop on Wednesday, April 30, from 2-3:30 p.m. Register for this FREE event to learn about how the Chesapeake Heartland team preserves local history for communities across the region.

Join the Museum of Eastern Shore Culture as we take a trip to Salisbury University for an inside look at the only on-campus hot glass shop in the state! On Saturday, May 10, attendees will get a two-hour guided tour and demonstration lead by Aric Snee, the head of SU’s glass department. This event is a companion to MESC’s newest exhibit, “Sand + Fire: The SU Alumni Glass Exhibit”, which is on display until June 13. Space is limited to 25 guests, so don’t miss your chance to participate in this exciting opportunity!

Ticketholders will meet at Fulton Hall on Salisbury University’s campus at 10:45 am. All visitors that plan to park on campus must obtain a FREE visitor pass through the permit system: https://salisburyparkingpermits.t2hosted.com/Account/Portal
